Marie - I did start my pattern with the stolpe and the palm. So if want to sort out the jogs, I would need to adjust the left mitten in the same way. This takes puzzling out.
In this instructional video, I was sharing the "typical" scenario in which you simply followed the charts.
If you modified your pattern the way I did, you will want to modify the next mitten too.
I do not know if this answers your question or not. I hope I did not misunderstand.
