week three homework finished . . .

instead of waiting to be relaxed first to knit, as there were a few stressed out days here . . . lol, i sat to knit one night after a long day . . . to try to relax. i knew better. dim light, frazzled nerves . . . but i knit anyway. we all probably know where this is going. so after the mistakes were made, spotted and fixed, i see i have two stitches in the opposite colors they need to be. i'm going to leave the one . . . as it reminds me that no one is perfect, the other i plan on using duplicate stitch to correct.

Pelly - First! Peg wants to connect with you. If you will email me at Knitography@gmail.com I will connect you via email. Secondly you do generally cast on the same amount of stitches that you place on hold. But your pattern should say how many. Once you cast them on you should have the correct stitch count. This is how you’ll know if you’re on the right track!

Hi Patricia,

Thanks for your reply to my questions! I am not familiar with Instagram, but no worries... I will figure something out.

However, I am hoping you can perhaps answer a general question for me: after putting the gusset stitches on hold, do you cast on the same number of stitches as the gap in order to continue the palm pattern? I think the answer must be yes, as otherwise you would be adding stitches into the palm. Is this right?

Thanks again for your input! Pelly

Thanks Patricia. The process has been great. Your videos have been very informative and helpful as I've been knitting the mittens. So glad to finally have solved the twisting yarn problems I have had with other knitting involving 2 yarns. Cheers! :)

Pelly - I have not knit these mittens. I am unsure if there are issues within the pattern.

After thinking about it overnight...I have decided to connect you with a lovely Friend of mine who is actually knitting the mittens along side of you.

I want you to contact her! She is pegpage123 on Instagram! You can ask her questions, find out about her experience and seek advice! Message her on Instagram and tell her I have sent you! I am telling her in advance you will contact her so she will be on the lookout.

Then you can get her email address!

Let me know!
