How many skeins of Rauma PT2 yarn is needed of each color for a pair of mittens? Will one skein of each color be enough for a large pair? Thinking about Christmas gifts.
Kristine - I will address stranded knitting again in today's lessons. I think this will be easier to explain and demonstrate. I want to reassure you however that you do not need to think about this too much during the knitting. Otherwise it will take the joy out of it. But let me know discuss this within our lessons. You can then let me know if you need additional support.
lovely gathering in the forest with you and your sheep . . . thank you for that special delight. my question is when catching floats on the fourth stitch, ( for this scenario I’m meaning several stitches together in one color in a row ).
sometimes that can line up with a previous float catch on the round below. I know this will show on the public side, and to not catch the same spot as row below, but it’s tricky to know for sure which stitch it was caught on the row below
as I think the next stitch worked after the catch secures the float. and when I try to determine this as I knit…
Patricia - I’m really looking forward to your next class, I struggle the most on the thumb especially getting the pattern to flow from the mitten stitches to the thumb stitches. Tusen takk.

Thank you Patricia
I really appreciate your efforts. 🌸🌿
When I switched to your fourth catch method I did experience the joy factor.
It was a different experience of ease progress and happy knitting in comparison to how I was previously plodding along.
Smiles,
Kristine
