Below is the information you will need to access active course content, to get started and to engage fully as a participant within the course.

Welcome!

Once you are registered for a Traditional Norwegian Knitting or Band Weaving course, you will need to make certain that you are logged in on the front page of the website under the Knitography Farm heading to gain access.

There you will find a yellow bell or yellow login bar.

Enter the email address you used to register for the course and to become a site member.

Keep your password safe! I cannot help you gain access if you lose your password.

Passwords are the responsibility of the user.

After you are logged in, click on the BLOG tab at the top of the website page.

There you will find the categories for the participant blog posts connected to each course.

For example:
Stranded Knitting Course

Selbu Mitten Course

Selbu Sock Course

Find your course's BLOG category.

The course participant BLOG information is presented from the bottom up.

You must scroll down to the very beginning of your course's BLOG category to find the information and the posts that you will need to make a start and to engage fully with written course content.

Each post connects to or is expanded upon within the visual instruction found within the Virtual Classroom (see below).

Please note: You must be registered and logged into the course to have access to the participant BLOG posts.

You will only have access to the information connected to your active course registration.

Other course BLOGs will be closed to you unless you are an active participant.

You will receive email notifications for ALL course content and farm update from the website.

Unfortunately, my website does not distinguish between courses when sending notifications.

Please overlook any irrelevant messages.

The course heading or subject will always be contained within the notification.

I apologize for any inconvenience.

Please do note:

You must be a site member to have access to the course.

If you unsubscribe from the website, you will loose ALL course information and access.

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION:

To gain access to the Virtual Classroom which contains all of the visual instructional content for the course, click on the Traditional Course tab at the top of the website.

Each course has its own virtual classroom with visual demonstrations and instructional videos.

You will find your virtual classroom under the Traditional Course tab at the top

of the website.

To engage in the course fully, you must view the instructional videos within the Virtual Classroom, follow and read the course BLOG content connected to these visual demonstrations throughout the course.

They work in connection and provide you with all of the information and course content needed to participate fully.

I recommend strongly, that you keep a making journal (knitting bag book) to note lesson numbers and BLOG post dates, to refer back to and to save you time.

I manage a very small farm in Norway and this is a small platform.

If you need further support or clarification, do not hesitate to contact directly.

I am here to facilitate, support and encourage you throughout the course.
