Joyce - The original pattern approaches this from the Norwegian perspective. In Part 3 of the pattern, I have modified this to break down their approach to make it easier.
Please follow that exactly. You will see that you increase within the motif, adjust back after and then move on to Increase 8. I hope this helps!
I don’t know whether you have covered this during a zoom or lesson, but I would like to get clarification. I’m knitting Gammel Sandvik size M. After increase 7 it says to increase an additional 3 stitches on the next round. I understand the reason for this, so that there are sufficient stitches to complete the mosaic motif, however, the next round is the first round of the motif. So, should I increase during the motif round, or perhaps do the 7th increase a round early and the extra three stitches in the round before the motif starts, or, add the extra three increases into the 7th increase round?
The lesson is also uploading now...so I have gone through that bit...I hope that will be an additional help to the thinking behind it all!

Thanks Patricia, following the instructions to the letter 🙂
