Maria - There is no front or back to your sock actually. You have knit the same on both sides. We have marked the one side as the front so that you remembered to keep track and knit the full chart, but when you finish knitting your odd row, begin your heel flap. This will become the true back of the sock.
I need some clarification about the heel flap. I ended my leg on row 11 ...which means that my yarn is now on the front of the sock. How do I knit the heel flap on the back of the sock? If I stop at the back it won’t be ending on a odd row. I guess I’m missing something. Also, when I did knit across the front (thinking I‘ll just use the front instead of the back, the slipped stitches continue the pattern in some places. Help.
Knit the heel flap as written.

These heel flaps make me happy!
Watched a movie last night, good story that took place in Norway and included beautiful scenery - recommend "The Sunlit NIght" on Hulu!
