Hi, I'm using DPNs for the whole sock because it's what I have, and it's giving me good practice at catching floats. Now I feel comfortable catching them with both foreground and background yarn. Yay! Thank you.
Mechele - I think it is a bit of a misunderstanding that I keep recommending DPNS for the cuff. I only shared that this is my preferred method. Some may find casting on a cuff with magic loop, if that is what they are used to.
I am unable to create a tidy, elastic cuff on magic loop and just find DPNS work best for me.
Hi! I am working on my socks and the question keeps coming up in my head. Why do you recommend using double point needles for the cuff of the sock? Do you find magic loop too loose for the cuff? Just wondering. 🤓
Hi! I tried on the sock leg and it fits! Yay! Now I'll start the second one today. Thank you for teaching us 😊. Also, in honor of this connection to Norway, I'm learning a Springar tune on my fiddle 🎻🎶.

Thanks for responding so quickly. I was just curious. All of your socks are so pretty — I am following all of your guidance.
