Thank you! The rituals and self-compassion in the wintery time are so welcome. I am finally seeing some friends today at the barn where I used to keep my horse. He died suddenly two months ago and I have been using my making to work through the grief. The knitting bag book and reflections are helping as well. So I wont be able to join you on zoom but send peace

Sue - It was wonderful to read about your practice and to know that you have found a way to deepen and extend it.

This is the wonderful thing about a ritual like the morning practice you decribe or the KBB. '

It continues to evolve. Expanding the space and capasity within our hearts for compassion.

Thank you for sharing!

For many years now I have begun my day with a mini ritual of candlelight, coffee and meditative visualization. The Knitting Bag Book adds a deeper dimension that was felt from the very first day! I am so grateful for you and this beautiful practice. Thank you Patricia 💕

I just feel so relaxed and at peace after I watch your video and then write in my knitting bag book. I am starting to create ritual/ sacred spaces before my daily activities, whether it is cooking, cleaning or folding wash. Everything now starts with a candle, soft lighting, peaceful music and essential oils.

Hi Patricia! I am a graduate student and am adapting the knitting bag book to apply to my research work which involves computer programming. I am excited to start this tradition to help me to focus better before beginning my work each day. It’s been a long journey, and I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but there is still more work to be done. Thank you for sharing your experiences with me!
