I wanted to share a couple of...thoughts? Updates? Anyway, while looking at the Herremannsbrura mittens in Nina's book during the Zoom yesterday, and then talking about strawberries and how beloved they are in your region, Patricia...it occurred to me (and this is totally an unscientific observation based on an image that popped into my head)...doesn't the "rose" on the mittens look a lot like the flower of the strawberry before the fruit forms? Just a thought. I haven't actually compared a photograph of the strawberry flower to the "rose", but just an idea I had.
