Farm Update! An Autumn page for your Knitting Bag Book or Reflective Weaving Journal!

Writer: KnitographyKnitography

Greetings from the farm,

It is a gloomy Sunday and it continues to pour down rain here on the farm and in the forest. There are flood warnings again within my region. :/

But just LOOK at the colour showing on the birch trees now!

I am ever amazed by the ebb and flow of the seasons.

As we approach the autumn equinox during this week, I thought I would share a page from my knitting bag book/reflective weaving journal with you....which includes sketches of my little flock's favourite treat - plums!

We planted and grow the plum trees on the farm just for their joy!

A yearly reward for growing their beautiful wool.

I wish you could see their love of plums!

I mean, do other sheep love plums this much?

There are thousands of mushrooms dotting the forest floor from so much rain!

Norwegian mushrooms are magical....full stop!

I hope you will take a moment to download and print out this page, to record the special moments of autumn you are witnessing this year....

Jot down your dreams, your wonders, the days you wish to remember and all that you hope to create this season.

If you are experiencing challenging days or worries....record those too on the back and release them!

Draw a line through them...scratch them off and keep your heart moving freely forward....

one step and one day at a time.

Enjoy!

Ha en fin høst!

Warmest regards from the farm,

Patricia

I wasn’t able to download the page. Is this only for a class?

What a lovely gift- I love the simplicity of the page- the old-looking paper bits, a bit creased and crumpled, are elevated when put to purpose, juxtaposed with the ink drawings of things from nature. Thank you- a good way to start my week. 🌿

When I bought my farm there was a golden plum tree that grew in the middle of the chicken yard. I was told that the eggs from those chickens were delicious.

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful journal page with us!
