Traditional Norwegian "Plukkebånd" Weaving - Final pre-course Zoom Check-in gathering tonight!

Hello everyone,

A gentle reminder that tonight I am hosting a pre-course Zoom Check in discussion around my upcoming Traditional "Plukkebånd" course.

We will meet at 21:00 (9:00 pm) Central European summertime and I will open our virtual classroom at 20:50 (8:50 pm).

In addition to providing information, this will be a sort of Q&A to answer any wonders or questions one might have around the course; course materials etc.

As this is a public post, one must email me directly to request the link and password to join in.

I have been away in the city getting my second vaccination today.

I hope that everyone that requested to join, has now received the information.

Please do not hesitate to contact me directly if needed or leave your thoughts below in the comments. I will get back to you!

Velkommen! Be welcome!

The photograph above is of a beautiful, historic woven band pattern found within the Trøndelag museum in Trondheim - woven in the late 1890s. It was woven by Ana Elisabeth Lie's tante (aunt) in celebration of her confirmation. It was so cheerful to read that she lived very close to my own village! I was so fortunate to examine and peruse the entire museum collection during my study.
